I was born in southern Italy, near the sea, where natural beauty is simply part of everyday life. During childhood visits with my family, I developed a deep fascination with alpine landscapes, mountain traditions, and the strong, authentic communities that live among those peaks.
However, it was the mountains that captured my imagination, in particular the Dolomites with their majestic and enigmatic beauty, sealed my everlasting love for those alpine landscapes, mountain traditions, and the strong authentic communities. I spent my childhood visiting those mountains, and those memories never faded away.
Twenty-six years ago, I moved to the United States. Living abroad gave me a new perspective on my homeland and helped me recognize how often we, as Italians, take our extraordinary surroundings for granted. Distance allowed me to rediscover Italy with fresh eyes — and to reconnect in a profound way with the Dolomites.
What began as childhood admiration evolved into a lasting bond. I came to see the Dolomites not only as a breathtaking natural wonder, but as a place rich in culture, history, and human stories.
This renewed connection was the spark for the creation of Dolomythic Adventures. After years of traveling and exploring distant parts of the world, I felt called to focus on my own country — to share the timeless beauty, unique traditions, and remarkable people of the Dolomites with others through meaningful and authentic experiences.
