What kind of trip is this — guided or self-guided?

All Dolomythic Adventures are fully guided, small-group experiences.

This is not a self-guided trip. You’ll be hiking with experienced alpine guides who handle
navigation, pacing, and daily logistics so you can focus entirely on the experience

Do I need to be an experienced hiker?

You don’t need to be an advanced hiker, but you should be active and comfortable hiking
several hours per day.

Most days involve:
● 10–12 km (6–8 miles)
● Moderate elevation gain
● Uneven alpine terrain

If you enjoy hiking and being outdoors, you’ll likely find this both manageable and rewarding.

What’s the difference between the Cortina and Val Gardena tours?

Both are incredible, but they offer slightly different experiences:

Cortina:
● More elevation and longer hikes
● Glamour and Dolomitic royalty
● Dramatic alpine scenery (Tre Cime, Cinque Torri, Croda da Lago)

Val Gardena
● Easier access to trailheads
● Iconic panoramic views (Seceda, Alpe di Siusi)
● Strong Germanic and Ladin cultural influence

If you’re unsure, we’re happy to help you decide.

What’s the difference between the 5-day and 7-day trips?

5-Day Experience
● Shorter, more flexible option
● Ideal if you’re limited on time
● Still delivers a strong Dolomites experience

7-Day Experience
● Full immersion
● More variety in landscapes and routes
● Deeper, more relaxed pacing
Both are fully guided and thoughtfully designed.

Why not just plan this trip on my own?

You can — but most travelers underestimate how complex it is.

Planning requires:
● Coordinating transportation between remote areas
● Navigating alpine trails safely
● Choosing the right routes based on conditions
● Managing timing, lodging, and logistics

Our guided experience removes that stress and gives you access to the best routes without guesswork.

How big are the groups?

We keep groups intentionally small — maximum 14 guests.
● This allows for:
● Better pacing
● More personal attention
● A more enjoyable overall experience

Is this a luxury trip?

This is best described as a premium, boutique adventure experience.

We prioritize:
● comfort
● quality accommodations
● excellent food
● seamless logistics

But the focus is still on the hiking experience, not luxury resorts.

How do I reserve my spot?

You can:
● Pay in full
● Reserve with a 25% deposit
● Choose a payment plan

Availability is limited, and departures fill on a first-come basis.

What if I’m not sure this is the right fit?

That’s completely normal.

We recommend scheduling a quick call with our tour guide. He can walk you through the experience, answer your questions, and help you decide if this is the right trip for you.
